Hi I’m Lisa. I live in Solihull and I am a mother of two young children.
After regularly attending other people’s yoga classes I became passionate about yoga. I found it to be a great form of exercise as well as very therapeutic as I have a busy life. I found yoga to be calming and revitalising and found it gave me more energy and a sense of calmness in body and mind.
After ten years of practice I knew I had to teach yoga. I trained under the British School of Yoga and the Yoga Bananas Technique (children’s yoga). Since then I identified the need for children to practice yoga. Children’s yoga is very different as it is more lively, incorporating stories through animal poses and play. The outcome is the same as adult yoga in that it calms and revitalises as well as keeping children active.I enjoy teaching both adults’ and children’s yoga, although very different it is a joy to see how yoga can make such a difference in people’s lives.
